I can put my car into any gear as if the clutch is engaged, while not putting my foot on the clutch, making my car unable to drive with a grinding noise.

Im saying that I can move the stick freely into gear without having to push the clutch pedal in. So I can move it into, for example 2nd gear without having to push the clutch pedal in.

Ok now I got that part. So does making my car unable to drive with a grinding noise? Are u saying it doesn't grind when u shift without pushing in clutch?Or are u saying something else?Does the clutch slip at all?Does the clutch pedal feel normal?Let me know.

I'm saying, I get in my car and I can move the stick freely without pushing the clutch pedal in, like the clutch pedal is already in, but im not touching it at all. When I put my foot on the gas, it makes a grinding noise and the car doesnt move. If I get out and mess with the throttle, by the engine the car will move, its something to do with the clutch, but I cant figure out why the clutch wont disengage.

Any idea of how this happens, or why?

Ok now I see what ur saying the problem isn't that ur clutch isn't dissengaging the problem is that ur clutch isn't engaging that's why ur car doesn't move in gear u probably have a worn out clutch disc that's ur fiber material like ur brake pads that goes in between ur flywheel and pressure plate. If that's worn then it won't matter if ur clutch pedal is in or out it will just act like ur clutch pedal is pushed in all the time when u shift thru the gears with it running.

Oh, thanks so much now I understand.

Do I need to replace the disk and flywheel?

If u can see ur car going into gear when u shift the gear shift then it's going to be ethier something in ur transmission or like a worn clutch disc.U will have to take the transmission out so u can see if it's something in ur clutch or something more serous. If it's ur clutch u will need a flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing.U will also need a alignment tool for the clutch. They sell kits though that have all that stuff in a package deal so if u need a clutch shop around and find one of those. Let me know what u find and how it goes.
