Just bought this car and drove it home. Noticed smoke eminating from between the firewall and the back of the engine when I popped the hood. Defroster only works when the A/C is on and blowing cold. Otherwise it fogs up the entire car. I also noticed some red fluid inside the car coming from the housing beneath the dash on the passenger side. Does it sound like a heater core problem or possibly loose hoses? How difficult is it to replace the heater core?
