I could not find a category that really fit my situation. When accelerating to get onto the highway the other day the car all the sudden stopped accelerating. The car did not stall out. I was able to turn it off and turn it back on. When I described this to someone else they thought the fuel filter might need to be replaced. I don't recall ever replacing it since I have owned the car. Do you think this might be the issue?
