Hello,
I just bought a used car and it failed for emissions in the state of Massachusetts. The two codes were
P0341 and P0732. I looked up what the codes mean, but was curious if you could give ma alittle more detail and maybe an idea of repair costs? I am hoping to determine if I should fix it or return it to the seller if the costs exceed the purchase price. Thanks in advance for your advice.

The p0341 is usually like plugs and wires possible coils and sometimes the ignition module the price of repair would vary depending on what's causiing the code. If u want to do the work urself the plugs are like 10-12 the wires are like 30-40 coils like 40 ea u have two depending on how many are bad the ignition module is the most expensive part but they don't fail that often there usually over a 100. On ur p0732 that's second gear ratio incorrect that could be valve body there a couple hundred plus labor and dia that would be atleast 300-400 min for labor and dia could be more. Could be a bad 2nd gear actuator there 40 plus a few hindered labor. Could be a loose input shaft nut that would be 300-400 or could be a leaking 2nd gear pistion that would complete tear down of the trans or a used trans. So the p0341 isn't so bad but the p0732 could get real expensive. Let me know.
