Hello, my girlfriend just purchased a 1997 SC1 which had a couple issues that may be linked. Right now I’ve noticed the following problems:

Horn does not work
Interior light turns on with Passenger door, but not Drivers
Interior/Dash lighting below Radio (Heat, AC, etc) does not light up.

All fuses look good, engine and passenger side, and it is a factory radio, so no odd installs. Searched the forum with no luck, hopefully someone has some advice, thanks!

First of all thank you so much for your donation. It look's like we have a few different problem's actually.I would like to fix one issue at a time a lot less confusion for both of us. Do you have a multimeter? You will need one to trace the problem's down.

Unfortunately no multi-meter, but I do believe the dome light situation is just due to a stuck plunger. Main concern is why the heating/ac unit is not lighting up

If the door jamb switch is stuck you will need to replace it. You will need a multimeter to diagnose the heating/ac unit is not lighting up is it only that not lighting up?I have seen a bad ground cause that. Or it could be just a bulb but without a multimeter it's hard to tell. Your horn could just be a bad horn but again without the meter it's hard to say.

Thanks for your help, I'll look into using a Multi-Meter to narrow it down

When you get a multimeter let me know and we can go from there.
