1997 Saturn SC1 HELP MEE!

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 107XXX miles

I was driving to work today and looked down and my service light came on. I called my boyfriend and asked what to do and he said just go to work and once I'm off work, go pick him up and he would look at it. So I did. Once I was leaving work, I went to go start my car and now it wont start at all. It's not even turning over. I have called the dealership, the AAA guy looked at it, my boyfriend (huge car wiz) looked at it, asked ORielys about it, and nobody knows whats wrong. My trunk lever in the car wont let my trunk pop, my doors wont lock or open with the button in car (only with keys) my pas. Side mirror wont move from the controls inside. Those are the only things that are wrong with it (which all worked perfectly before today!) I have no idea whats wrong, or even where to start looking. Any ideas?

Have you checked all the fuse's inside and out?Also make sure your battery cable's are clean and tight. Have you had your battery tested?Good idea to get that tested too. Does your dash light's come on when you turn the key on?Let me know.

I was about to check all the fuses right now. I know nothing about cars (never had any problems) probably should have learned but opps. Thats why I have my BF (who is at work until late.) So I will check all my fuses, how can I tell if they are bad? I found the fuse box in the engine part but I was talking to my friend and he said there should be another. I will look for that. My battery cables are clean and tight, and my battery is good. Tried jumping my car and made no difference. Yes, all my dash lights come on when I turn the key on.

There is two fuse boxes one under your hood the other inside passenger side under the forward kick that is right in front of the center console. To check the fuse's you turn the key to the run position and use a test light and make sure you have power to both side's of each fuse. You might want to let your bf do that. Let me know what you find.
