98 Saturn - car stutters on acceleration

I have a 1998 Saturn SL 1 168,000 KM on her. She just started stuttering or being jumpy(almost like a misfire or a bogging down) when you accelerate. She is also very slow to accelerate in the higher gears (manual transmission). She is fine once you are up to speed. I have already cahged the air filter, any other ideas of what the problem might be?

I would also go ahead and change the fuel filter it may be backed up and not putting through as much fuel as need during heavy accelleration. Good luck lemme know :)

I just finished changing the plugs (fouled up) and has taken care of the problem. I will also change the fuel filter as well just because it should probably be changed.
