95 Saturn -needs jump

95 saturn SC2 100,000 - Will not even click when trying to start without jump. Interior lights, dings and dash lights come on. Noticed the headlights would not open all the time - when turning them on. When they do open - there seems to be a 2 second noise, like something winding on the passenger side - in front. If idling, turn headlights on - engine dies. One time, closing windows-passenger side-engine dies.
Will start and run with jump start.
Altenator output when running-15V.
Battery when not running-12V.
Can you help - thanks

I know that the 93 had a recall on the altanator wiring, it could be the same problem.

Sounds like a bad battery to me. Have it tested. A load test.
