i replaced my battery a week ago. For a few days the car started no problem. I hit a bump going into a parking lot, parked the car, got back in and the car would not start. When I turn the key, everything lights up , i hear some sound from behind me (the fuel pump?) and the radio works, but when I turn to crank the engine, I get nothing, no sounds or anything. I can get it to crank every now and then, but not consistent enough to drive around town. I have people telling me that everything from the ignition switch, alternator, and starter need replacing. any ideas? i did check the fuses and they looked fine.

When you turn the key On, do you see the lights that normally comes On-if not start by checking the battery and connections make sure its clean and tight.

If the lights are On-have helper hold key to start postion and bang on the starter-if the starter engages the engine you have a bad starter-if not backtrack starter circuit to the ignition switch start from the starter relay, transmission inhibitor switch/NSS,.
