Hello. My pully that is attached to the engine belt is wobbling and making an awful racket. I'm taking it up to the auto shop for repairs and I wanted some idea of what I was getting into. Is it just a loose nut or bolt or are the bearings perhaps bad? What are some of the more common causes of wobbly pulleys? What does this usually run pricewise given an $80 hourly labor fee? Thank you for your time and help.

Depends on which pulley, some are bolted on and some are pressed on. In any case you would want to get it fixed or you will incur more damage.

Cost would be hard to estimate since I don't know which one and if bolted or pressed.

I took it up to the dealership and they said the air compressor is coming apart. Luckily I have an extended warranty which they said would cover the work so all I pay is a $50 deductible. Sorry I couldn't be more specific. Not too familiar with moving parts haha. Have a good one.
