2000 Saturn LS2 speedometer quit and O2 sensor

My 200 saturn ls2 sat in our garage for a couple of months to save milage. When we went to drive it we had to replace the battery. Ever since, the speedometer has not worked. Anyone know what might be the problem? Also, had autozone read my ses light and said 02 sensors were bad. Car is shifting funny. Could the 02 sensors really be the problem?

After the battery is replaced the computer will take a few drive cycles to relearn. This is normal and evident in shifting.

What are the specific codes for the O2?

Check the fuse for the speedo?
