I have a 1999 saturn sl, for the last 6 months when i go out in the morning it wont start, if i wait about a hour it starts with no problem, also the hose coming from the engine to the air filter system blows smoke, can you give me a idea on what the problem might be?

Does the engine crank and try to fire? The hose blowing smoke sounds like a bad pcv valve. How many miles and what maintenence has been done lately (plugs, wires, air and fuel filter)?

Good luck and let us know. :)

Almost sound as if something is draining the battery but is disconnected after you first try to start it. I would check the ignition switch.

good luck and let us know. :)
