Where is the o2 sensor located as opposed to the transmission sensor, and what is the easiest to replace?

The O2 sensors are mounted in fittings on the exhaust pipe one before the catalytic converter and one after. New, these are very easy to change, however yours are older and the mileage has put alot of soot on the inside of the exhaust pipe. You will probably need a special 02 sensor socket to get them out. You will need to be more specific as to the transmission sensor as most transmissions have several sensors some on either side some inside.
