Hi just bought this car today I smelt oil burning and so I looked under hood. Some reason something told me to pull the plug wire so I did.I pulled number one wire and down in the hole it was filled with oil. Number to also and three not as much number 4 just wet in the hole. The car runs fine dont run hot dont miss. Why would there be oil in the hole were the plug goes. Note plug is in the cylinder. Hope you understand thanks

No worries, not a big deal. You just need a valve cover gasket. Each of the spark-plug holes has a gasket to keep oil in the motor and out of the spark-plug tube. All the gaskets come in one kit and can be installed in 30 minutes.

Be sure you replace any spark-plug boots or spark-plug wires that were soaked in hot oil, as they will likley swell, crack, and let the coil arc to the head.
