The transmission on my L300 surges during acceleration and won't shift until high RPM's (>3K) are achieved. What could possibly be the problem?

Shifting at 3k isn't they high of rpm's to shift at.Do you have any trouble code's in the computer?Does the car shift hard into any of the gear's?

It surges or pulses and goes way past 3000rpm before it shifts. Mostly when you get on it hard going up hill in 2nd gear.

So do you have any code's?Also do you have to ever let up on the gas pedal for it to shift?

After taking my L300 to GM it was discovered to have both catalytic converters clogged. Expensive!
