2002 Saturn L100 interior electrical

I've been having a recently with the gauges and lights sparatically fluctuating, also keyless entry and alarm is not working, but most recently car would crank but not go into gear. Hopefully there is an economical solution. Thank you for any input to the possible cause.

To clarify a couple points;
Are the "gauges" and the "dash lights flucuating?
By "flucuatuating", do you mean on/off or flickering?
What do you mean by, "It'll crank but won't go into gear". Please advise and we can go from there.
