2004 Saturn Ion DIDN'T START THIS Morning

Coldest day of year 7degrees. Car did not turn over to start. Turned on dome light and tryed again - nothing, light did not dim. Turned on fan - stopped when ignition on but no turn over. Checked oil ok, coolant not frozen.
Tried again in afternoon with temp in mid 20's - car started and ran fine
never a problem before

Having same problem with my saturn. A remote start was suggested which is why I have submitted the wiring question. Do you know about passlock system and waiting for ten minutes for it to reset? If the alarm system on the instrument is flashing with key in on position that is what's happening.I just don't know why mine does that for no reason. I have been told to keep other transponders (like Mobil speedpass) off the same key ring. Maybe mythbusters should check this out.
