I can start this up back out and drive down the street perfect shifting and come to a stop take off and it will not shift out of first gear. I can turn it off and immediately restart and it shifts fine until I get to the stop sign again. I have replace the plug in at the valve body replaced every sensor, swapped out transmissions, and replaced PCM. Same issue no matter what.

Hi,

This sounds like a nightmare. You have replaced everything that can be replaced, but regardless there is no change. It isn't the transmission or the PCM. Were speed sensors replaced? Have you checked the main ground on the rear of the engine? See pic 1. Also, when this happens and before you turn it off, does the range sensor still provide the correct gear selection?

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is a nightmare, yes I have checked all my grounds back of engine, PCM ground cable. I will have to go back and check range selector it’s been awhile since I’ve worked on it. Again thank you very much for the reply.

You are very welcome. We both are missing something that is most likely really simple. Because of all the work you have already done, just try to start from the beginning. Let me know what you find.
