Hi sir, my name is Ali I am mailing you a question, does engine which have longer stroke or called stroker kit have taller engine blocks compared to short stroke engine in height and secondly is it possible that two different engines have different bore size? But the stroke remains of same size. Well waiting for reply. Thanks indeed.

Some engines can have a longer stroke but the piston pin boss has been moved to take up for the longer stroke. Some engines can have the same stroke but larger bore size to make larger. In the case of a 6.2L or 7.0 L in Corvettes they have different strokes and different bores to make larger so the one 7.0L would have a taller deck meaning block height.
