Hi, my car does not drive in auto I have to manually shift gears. When in D the car is limp and the S light on the dash flashes which is the transmission light. Any solutions to this issue?

You first need to run a diagnostic code test and record any codes and post them here for evaluation and further advice. The light is indicating that a fault code has been set.
