Running fine until you come to a stop. Charge light starts flashing runs rough then stalls. Starts back up still running rough and will only do 5 mph and light is still flashing. Stop and shut engine off for 5 minutes. Restart light out and runs fine. No codes. Any ideas?

The charge indicator meaning the battery light? What color is the lamp? Amber or red?

If this is the charge indicator the only reason it would be coming on is the RPM is getting low and then it stalls. However, the charge light normally doesn't flash so that is why I am asking what color it is. Next when you say it is limited to 5 MPH that sounds like the PCM is limiting it or does it seem that this is all it is able to do as a result of the poor running?

Just feels like we are missing something because if it is being limited and the light is flashing there should be codes.

Can you get a recording of this happening? I am thinking the battery light flashing is because of the RPM's getting low due to it running rough. I think seeing what the cluster (RPM, Speed, and gauge lights) is doing when this is happening will help it make more sense because right now, I am not sure what would cause this to happen and then restart and run fine just 5 minutes later. Thanks
