Rough idle at low RPMs?

My beamer started having a rough idle at a low rpms it accelerated at first but when I stopped it turned off battery is new. What could be the problem?

Hi,

The most common cause of a rough idle is an engine vacuum leak, is that something that has been checked? Also, is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If it is, have you had the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes? I ask because although a vacuum leak is very common, there are other things that can do it as well. For example, a fuel pressure issue, dirty throttle body, air/fuel mixture issue, and so on.

Let's start by checking if there is a vacuum leak.

Also, if the check engine light is staying on, have the computer scanned for codes. Most parts stores will do it for you free of charge.
