Reverse gear occasionally disengaged and giving loud noise when you engage

The car has transmission problem. Reverse gear not engaging and produces loud noise when engaged.
Gears are not shifting smoothly. Car is losing power

Hi,

I would suggest starting with checking the fluid of the transmission. Then we need to drop the pan and look for metal. If metal is found then we need to rebuild or replace the unit. Once there is metal through the unit, it is only a matter of time before all gears are gone and it will not move.
