I'm having issues with the exhaust manifold and the bolts that belong in the back side of the head. Had head and cams replaced but had a huge exhaust leak afterwards appears like two bolts were not put in the head.

Hi,

There are two different things that can be leaking. First, is the cylinder head where the manifold bolts to the cylinder head and then at the bottom of the manifold (converter) where the downpipe attaches.

Do you know which one is causing the leak? Also, you indicated you had the work done. Have you spoken to the person that did the repair? They should be responsible for this and not leave it for you.

As far as the manifold, I attached the directions below for the installation of the exhaust manifold. If this isn't the concern, let me know and I'll help any way I can.

Also, make sure the battery negative terminal is disconnected prior to performing the steps below.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Also, if I am wrong with the component I listed, let me know which two bolts you are referring to.
