Replacing crankshaft sensor?

I would think the new sensor is defective, I would get an OEM sensor to replace it with. Here is the location of the sensor to make sure we are on the same page, this sensor is not easy to get to so make sure the electrical connector is attached correctly with the wiring intact, and is free from dirt. Check the length of the sensor, this is important. Also, using a scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure by following the on-screen instructions.
