I am wondering what happens if the fuse to the ignition were to blow or be disconnected after the car is already running? I am asking hypothetically as I am thinking of putting a kill-switch in my car to deter auto theft.

Hello, I am Danny.

Being that your car is ECM controlled it would not be good to blow the fuse while driving! You would lose all control/power to the ECM (picture attached) the fuel pump would shut off, engine would shut off, etc. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
