I was recently doing some work on my vesicle and came across this random ground wire that leads into my firewall as shown in picture 1, picture 2 is where I found the wire laying, and picture 3 is to show what the wire looks like under the plastic cover. Was wondering if you could tell me what its for?

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included both the ground locations chart for you as well as the ground distribution wiring diagram so you can find the ground number of your ground in question and then find it on the wiring diagram and see what circuits that ground goes too. Let us know what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

According to this it is g102, but as far as I know all the stuff attached to that works. Any idea where it is supposed to be bolted at, or can I just hook it up anywhere?

Hello,

You should be able to hook it anywhere you have a good metal area to hook it up to. Make sure to use a star washer to get through the paint and make good contact.

Thanks,
Alex
