When I connected my radio which worked perfectly, the next day the battery was flat. Therefore, recharged battery and disconnected radio and car is going perfectly.
Obviously the radio is draining the battery.
Can the radio be fixed or should I just replace it.
In addition the battery is brand new.

It might just be a wiring issue with the way that the radio was connected. How did you go about wiring it up? Did you have to cut and splice the wires? Or were you able to find and buy a harness adapter for your car? In either case, having the wires hooked up improperly could cause this to happen. If, by chance, you have a picture of how you wired it, that would be helpful.
