Hi, I have the vehicle listed above. They recently changed the rack and pinion along with the outer tie rods, but the steering wheel is hard to turn just when it's stopped. It's fine when its being driven.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Usually that symptom is related to the power steering fluid level. It's possible there still might have been some air in the system after replacement resulting in an improper or low power steering fluid level. I would suggest rechecking the level to see if it's proper. If the level is proper then you might be having an issue with a weak or failing power steering pump. Get back to us after the power steering fluid level is checked and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
