I saw that one of the halo lights on passenger side was weak compared to the second halo light in the same headlight on same side, while the driver, both are bright, order a used replacement module, it's a used one and an LED. Neither ones of the halos are on. Do you know if these need programming?

No the headlights and halo's do not need programming. This is classic for BMW’s halo LED driver modules (often made by Hella). These fail commonly from heat and moisture in the headlight housing. If you bought a used one, odds are it was already 80% worn. I would get a new unit because they need to match exactly or the Halos will not work

BMW LED driver for F48 is usually something like:

Hella 1LE 011 086-XX
or
BMW 63117419615, 63117420629, etc.

These must match exactly. Thanks for the images and video. Let me know what happens after you get the new headlight module.
