Problem in Honda City 2002 ( Crystal light )

My Car is giving the average of 7-8 km/ltr but as we all know that honda city's average of 12-13 km/ltr.

Second, the pollution of this car is also not showing well. CO value is 7.8 but it should be not greater than.5

Please suggest me ASAP on this. Thanks for you help

Has the check engine light come on? When was the last tune up? Is the air filter clean? Other than poor mileage, how does the engine run?

I have already changed the air filter and oil filter and cleaned the todal, tuned the RPM. Then also there is no improvemnets in the mileage and the pollution.

Have you checked the operation of the O2 sensors? Have you checked the to make sure the fuel pump pressure is within the manufacturer's specs?
