Power Steering Pump removal

So the original problem was a bad thermostat I was replacing only to find out that one of the bolt holes for the housing was stripped and I can't put the housing back on. To repair the threads it looks like I have to remove the giant bracket that holds both the alternator and the power steering pump, which is a giant pain in the butt. Unless someone has a better idea on this my question is do I need a special tool for pulling the pulley off? I have a 3.8L v6. This picture is of the front of the pulley. I have to have this fixed in 2 days so I would appreciate quick help. However, I am not donating for this question so I'll take what I get.

You need a power steering pulley puller. You can rent it at a parts store.

The bracket will have to come off. It will make it easier to repair

Okay, thank you for the response. That was pretty much what I figured, but the professional's advice is reassuring.

Any help on getting the bracket off? I have removed a few bolts to where it will move side to side, but I can't pull it off? There must be another bolt, but I can't find one and the repair manual is no help at all.
