Power loss

Extreme power loss on hills, popping noise only when power is lost, sets code for misfire number 4 cylinder. Vehicle has been sitting for a year with one quarter tank of gas. Filled the tank then tried to drive but couldn't go up hills so had to be towed.

Good morning,

You need to drain all the fuel and clean out the tank. The year old fuel is no good and by adding fuel will not make the bad fuel good.

I would also change the filter as well.
