Temperatures between -5°F and 15°F, and slippery ice/snow yesterday while running errands. First, power lift-gate stopped working, then a few hours later traction control and stabilitrak lights came on. These systems were working before that, but not after. ABS is working, and ABS light is not on. Vehicle is not running rough. Please advise.

Update. It warmed up to 34°F today, and the traction/stability control systems, and the power lift-gate, are now working. Good news, but I am looking to take it on a 1,200 mile trip over Christmas. I am concerned about the traction/stability control not working in the cold. Do not know if this happened because it was the first time this year it got that cold, or if it is always going to happen in the cold.

Hello,

It sounds like a few motors were frozen. To be safe the car should have left codes for the ABS if there is a problem let's follow this video and report back. It could be a wheel sensor is going out.

Please run down this guide and report back.

Cheers, Ken
