The headlights and taillights do not work.
The are automatic and should turn on when
it gets dark but they don't. The switch is a 3 position switch that has off-parking lights and headlights.
In the off position the lights are supposed to come on in the dark automaticlly. The lights do work when you push the red emergency button on the key
and the horn beeps so I know they work. Other then that I can not get the lights to work any time.

The headlights are covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. Take it to the dealer and have it repaired.

Could be a bad switch or "twilight" sensor, in any case, you should not have to pay anything to get it repaired.

The only thing then MAY not be covered would be the bulbs themselves, but I would not replace the bulbs, since it would be highly unusual for both bulbs to go out on a new car.
