I just installed a window regulator in a Pontiac Sunfire. After installed, it rolls up 90 percent of the way and then comes crashing down. What did I do wrong?

You will have to remove the door panel again and test the window up and down several times and watch it as it goes up and down. Make sure the parts that bring the window up and down are not broken and are operating smoothly without binding in the door and all riveted or welded spots are good and not broken

I watched it a few times. And I can't figure it out. The parts all work well. The window clicks and then slides right down the track with the part closest to the front of the car first.

What was the issue before replacing the regulator? Meaning why was the regulator replaced?

Motor wasn't working. So I replaced entire regulator. It worked for a few weeks and then the window was tilted. So I took it out and checked the tracks and everything was fine. So I put it back in. And now it does that. :/

Honestly it seems like the regulator may have when out again, did you purchase a name brand or offbrand type or was it just used?
