Engine Cooling problem
1998 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k+ miles

Hello- I'm praying you can assist me! Check engine light came on, engine temp guage bounced around and landed below 0. I took car to shop, they ran diagnostic to determine my Coolant Temp Sensor needed to be replaced. I replaced, turned car on, check engine light turned off and temp guage went to normal-mid-temp reading. YAY! 3 mins later check engine light came back on, guage dropped below zero again. Help!

Can you take it to a auto parts store like auto zone and get the code number from them so we can nail down the direction we need to go in.
