1997 Pontiac Sunfire Is it a starter?

I have a 97 sunfire. When I turn the key on all the lights come on but the car won't start. Can you help me?

Does it sound like it wants to start? If not and just makes a clicking sound then check all connections for corrosion and make sure they are all connected fimly if it still doesn't start then yes it is your starter
