1997 Pontiac Sunfire Check Engine Light

1997 Pontiac Sunfire Automatic 98000 miles

I took it to an auto store, and they told me the code meant the ATI was messed up. A car entusiast in the store told me a home remedy to fix it because the employee didnt know what the ATI was without looking it up. The employee flashed the message to make the light go away, but on the drive home, it came back on.

Are there any other home remedies or professional fixes for it? The light has to be off for an upcoming inspection.

Well if it's the sensor, then just replace that and it should solve your problem. If you have after market parts like a cold air intake or stuff like that, it could have something to do with that as well
