I am secretly (without hubby knowing) coming in to ask what went wrong with my husbands car repair. I have a 97 Grand Prix with 67,000 miles. The front struts seemed to be going so my husband decided install them himself. While installing he noticed the rocker arm seemed a bit loose and tightened it up. When I went to use the car for one quick errand I noticed a burning smell and also noticed the car doesn't coast and acceleration seems slightly more difficult for it. Almost like the brakes were slighly on. I can't see any leakage/drops on the cement and can't seem to tell where the burning smell is coming from. No warning lights have come on either. I only used the car once and am too afraid to drive it again. So what did he do wrong/what could have gone wrong in the process and what could be the
burning?
Thanks much if you answer this. Carri in WI

. For anyone who tried to figure out what happened. Twas not my hubby. To readjust my brakes on my grand prix you set the emergency brake and release. Which I had done and thought no way could it have been that that I do it all the time and my husband just worked on the car. Well after calling around I have been told that my brakes are probably "stuck" now.
