I have a 1995 Grand Prix SE 3.1 with 153000 miles on it and about a month and a half ago I replaced the alternator and brake pads and I also turned the rotars. Around that same time my ABS light was going on and off. After I finished replacing all of that I noticed that my ABS light just stayed on and its been on ever since. Now, just recently my brake light has gone from going on about every other time I turn on the car to every time. My brakes seem to work fine? I was just wondering what the problem/s could be? Any advice would be gretly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey bud, I had the same problem for awhile with the ABS light flicking on and off and my friend suggested to me that I check the brake fluid. I refilled it and the light went off and has been off since. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion, but thats one of the first things I tried. I also took it to autozone to run codes but my car is a year too old for that. Anyone else got anything?

If you turned the rotors, you may have a buildup of steel shavings on you sensors. They are magnetic. Try cleaning the sensors with compressed air. While your at it clean the ring gears too.
