2005 Pontiac Grand Prix removing spark plug wires

the spark plug wires of my grand prix have an aluminum tube around around the boots. how do i remove this tube and then remove the boot from plug ?

you remove them just like you would the plug wire.they come off with the wire.you can acually pull them off with your hand.pull and twist,they should come off with a little effort.make sure you put the metal tubes back on the new wires because they protect the wire from oil dripping on them or any other fluids.

Because I've pulled twisted pried and all with both hands and still can't get it off?
