My car has been jerking a lot and the tachometer bounces like crazy. It also dies at stops occasionally. I've taken it to get worked on and the computer said the problem was crank shaft sensor A- so we replaced that- it didn't work. So we replaced crank shaft sensor B, and it did not work. The mechanic has no clue what is wrong with my car now, and I am afraid it is going to leave me stranded somewhere if I don't get it fixed soon.

Was there a trouble code for the crank sensor when he looked at it. It could be bad terminal tension at the connector.

I'm not for sure. Both times the mechanic just said the computer came back saying the problem was crank shaft sensor A?
Someone told me it could be the fuel pump?
