I had a recent problem with my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 litre, when on the freeway, and I commute, it would cut out between 60-65 mph, but when I go over that, it runs ok. But consistantly between those miles per hour it cuts out and I can see the rpm's go up. I changed the plugs, air filter, spark plug wires, along with flushed the coolent system. Well, a day later drove it to work and it seems like it not only didn't work but it's getting worse than it was. What else can I do?

Do you have a check engine light?

For a start try checking the throttle position sensor/ MAP and MAF sensor-also the fuel pressure. The computer uses these sensors input signals for fuel and timing adjustments-

No check engine light comes on. It idols still a little bit rough but accelerates good, but cuts out only between 60-65. I will have those items you suggested checked. I should probably change the fule filter as well yes?
