The car starts but cuts out twenty seconds later, this happened after driving through mud puddle.

If the vehicle refuses to restart quickly, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs and injector pulse. Go from there.

Can you check for codes? It looks like the ignition module is fairly high on the engine. The crank sensor is low. From your post, it just sounds like something got wet.
