1994 Pontiac Grand Prix need transmission help

I have a 94 pontiac grand prix just installed a transmission and new torque converter. It doesnt wanna go into gear untill the car has warmed up some or you put it in gear and rev it up and it will then go in to gear please help me fix my problem. Contact me with some help

When you rev it up and it finally goes into gear, does it shift OK after that? Sounds like a sticking pressure regulator valve. Please advise.

Yes after I rev it up and it clunks into gear it shifts fine I just have to repeat the process any time I drive it. Its that something that can be removed in the car if it has to be replaced?

The pressure regulator is serviceable by removing the trans pan. A trans service shop would have equipment needed to pressure test the system and varify the problem as pressure. Hope this helps.
