I need to know the location of torque strut and how to replace it. '98 grand am se, 2.4.

I really think you mean the struts on the front end. You need a spring compressor after you take it off. The torque strut is just a bracket on teh transmission which is n't picture and probably holds the transmissinon to the engine.
