I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am with the 2.3 L Quad 4 engine and when I am driving at a steady speed the car will act as if the accelerator is not pressed at all even though it is. I do not believe it is the transmission because the engine does not rev at all during this. This problem is intermittent and I have went through all of the sensors and replaced them. The TPS, O2, and the MAP sensors are brand new and I am still running into this problem. The car only has 51,000 miles. Any feedback on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

If check engine light is on, retrieve codes, if no check engine light, then check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge and spark with calibrated tester.

Also consider you may have a clogged convertor, this can be checked by performing a backpressure test, or have someone rev engine in park and with glove on, feel if exhaust gases are moving freely through pipe.

Crank sensor should show RPM while cranking, if not then crank sensor is bad.
