I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand AM SE 3.1L V6 with 139000 miles, automatic trans, and I had a new oil switch put in yesterday. The car was running fine until I took it in to the shop and once the switch was replaced the car ran fairly good but when I came to a stop the car acted as though it was going to shut off and I as I went through the parking lot of a local business the car engine stopped twice on me and it had a hard time restarting. I took it for a drive this morning and my interior/exterior lights flicker and when I press the brake the lights go really dim in the car and it acts like it wants to shut off again but it didn't. I have had this problem before but it usually goes away after I drive the car a little bit. I just want to know what the possible problem/s might be.

~thanks

I wonder if there is a vacuum issue. Pressing on the brake calls for more vacuum, and iof the motor is already on the weaker side of the vacuum it may want to stall/runs rough. As it heats up, the vacumm leak may seal. Perhaps an intake manifold leak for example.
