1991 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl

i just replaced the starter,alternator, and battery in my 1991 pontiac grand am. when i try starting the car, all i hear is clicking. the parts have all been tested and are good. what can be causing this problem. the car engine will sometime start but wont stay started for long. but mostly it just clicks. it also drains the battery when it does start.

Main red battery cable to starter and connection to solenoid, starter grounds to block, so make sure the block is clean. Also check battery connections, clean and tight.

If problem persists, it may be wrong starter, remove and inspect starter teeth and flexplate teeth for wear cracking.
